Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised Pakistan’s unwavering and principled position on the Palestinian issue, commending the country for resisting international pressure to normalize relations with Israel.

During a high-level meeting in Tehran with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his delegation, Khamenei emphasized the importance of Islamabad’s continued refusal to engage diplomatically with Tel Aviv. He highlighted Pakistan’s resilience against foreign inducements, stating, “Despite persistent efforts to coax Islamic nations into recognizing the Zionist regime, Pakistan has stood firm and unyielding.”

The discussions covered a wide array of topics, including regional stability, economic cooperation, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Khamenei stressed the urgency of coordinated action between Iran and Pakistan to counter Israeli aggression. “Iran and Pakistan must work together effectively to halt the Zionist regime’s atrocities in Gaza,” he asserted.
