The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has launched a crackdown on non-compliant taxpayers in Peshawar as part of its efforts to boost tax compliance and tackle evasion.

A team from the KPRA, headed by Assistant Collectors Khalid Mansoor, Roohullah Khan, and Shahnawaz Khan, along with inspectors, conducted targeted raids on two prominent restaurants situated along University Road. During the operations, the team confiscated the financial records of the restaurants. An official stated that the raids were carried out at Habibi Restaurant and Dampukh Khorak as part of KPRA’s efforts to enforce tax compliance. Despite receiving multiple notices, the targeted restaurants did not respond, which led to the seizure of their records in accordance with KPRA regulations.
