The Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2) has reopened at all key sections for all types of traffic. The M2 motorway from Chakri is now accessible, and vehicles from Neela Dullah can travel via the normal route. Additionally, the M1 motorway has been cleared for movement of all kinds of traffic.

The Lahore Traffic Police announced on Sunday that all entry and exit points of the city are now open, with smooth traffic flow in and out of Lahore. The Eastern Bypass is accessible, and key locations, including Babusabu, Thokar Niaz Baig, Shahdara, and Saggiyan, are witnessing normal traffic conditions.

In Islamabad, the main Kashmir Highway has been reopened for traffic towards the motorway, although containers are still present at 26 Number Chungi. Authorities informed that efforts are underway to clear the remaining obstacles on a priority basis.

The Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner confirmed the restoration of traffic in the garrison city, stating that all roadblocks and containers have been removed. Both tracks of Murree Road and nearby thoroughfares have been reopened, with the remaining obstacles being cleared. However, Murree Road at Faizabad remains closed, as the Islamabad administration retains the authority to open it along with all roads connecting Rawalpindi to the capital city.
