Loralai Olives has made history as the first Pakistani brand to win a Silver Award at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Arbequina monovarietal. Grown on a 40-hectare farm in Loralai, Balochistan, the olives benefit from the region’s dry climate and high elevation.

The award-winning oil is produced with high-quality standards, including hand-picking, cold-extraction, and lab-tested batches stored in temperature-controlled tanks and packaged in dark glass or ceramic bottles. Government support—subsidized mills, advanced irrigation, and exhibition access—was key to the brand’s success.

Certified ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, and Halal, Loralai Olives plans to expand exports to the US, Europe, and the Middle East. It is also scaling operations to regions like the Pothohar Plateau and promoting sustainable farming methods such as drip irrigation, organic composting, and energy-efficient processing.

Despite rising temperatures shifting harvest times, the company maintained strong yields and quality. Loralai Olives is also training local farmers to improve practices and grow high-quality olives across Pakistan.
