The sudden tremor caused widespread panic, leading many locals to recite verses from the Holy Quran for protection. This earthquake serves as a reminder of the region’s susceptibility to seismic events, marking the second such incident in recent weeks. On July 2, a similar tremor with a magnitude of 4.5 also originated near the Tajikistan border and affected Mingora and nearby areas.

Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation but have not identified any immediate threats. Residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions in case of aftershocks.
