As part of the Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 operating system was released in December 2022 together with the MIUI 14 operating system. Xiaomi announced at the end of March the second batch of upgrades, including Xiaomi MIX 4, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi Civi 1S, Xiaomi Civi2 and other 25 models, will get a stable version of the new system at the end of March.

After Xiaomi R&D staff worked overtime in order to get Civi 2 fully compatible with MIUI 14, Xiaomi Civi product manager Hu Xinxin announced in a post today that Xiaomi Civi 2 now has full version support for MIUI 14.

With the Photon Engine architecture of MIUI, not only does the system speed up, but it also opens up the kernel to the third party developers, allowing them to build the Android ecosystem of three party applications with the fastest speed. It is our hope that the new family service will make the connection between families even stronger.

This is the second generation Xiaomi Civi 2, released on September 27, 2022, with a 6.55-inch screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor. The phone comes with pre-installed MIUI 13, 32MP + 32MP cameras on the front, 50MP main camera + 20MP rear camera + 2MP camera, 4500 mAh battery, fast charging support of 67W wired.
