New MediaTek Helio G36 SoC announced for budget gaming phones

An entry-level chipset from MediaTek has been announced. There is a new MediaTek Helio G36 processor on the market. As the successor to the Helio G35, the latest processor from the Taiwanese semiconductor company can be considered as a substantial upgrade. According to reports, the Helio G36 chipset will be used in India to power budget gaming phones. Despite having a slower clock speed than the Helio G37, other than that, it is mostly the same as the Helio G37. Here is a list of the processor’s technical specifications that you should know about.

TSMC’s 12nm process is the basis of the MediaTek Helio G36 processor released by MediaTek. It possesses eight Cortex-A53 cores running at 2.2GHz clocked at a frequency of 1.6GHz. There is an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU onboard that is used for graphics processing. As part of the HyperEngine 2.0 Lite gaming technologies, the chipset is equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 Lite. In addition, the Resource Management Engine 2.0 ensures sustained performance by ensuring a dynamic management of resources such as the GPU, CPU, and memory, while the Networking Engine 2.0 ensures faster response times and better connectivity in order to maintain uninterrupted service.
