Oppo is set to make a significant impact in the Chinese smartphone market this October with the launch of its latest flagship devices, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. These high-end smartphones are anticipated to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400 chipset, offering top-tier performance.
Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed key details about the Find X8 on Weibo. According to these updates, the standard Find X8 is expected to be more compact compared to its Pro variant. The standard model is rumored to feature a triple-camera setup, while the Pro version is likely to have a quad-camera system, including dual periscope telephoto lenses.

A notable highlight of the Find X8 is its IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance, indicating Oppo’s emphasis on durability alongside high performance. The device will also support wireless charging, a feature missing in the Find X7 launched earlier in the year. This improvement, along with the enhanced IP68/69 rating, represents a significant upgrade from the Find X7’s IP65 rating.
Additional details include virtual solid-state buttons and a magnetic accessory ecosystem. The Find X8 is expected to feature a flat OLED display, measuring between 6.5 and 6.6 inches, with a resolution of 1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
The rear camera setup of the Find X8 is said to include a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It will ship with ColorOS 15, Oppo’s custom Android skin based on Android 15, offering the latest features from Oppo and Google.
The Find X8 is rumored to be powered by a 5,600 mAh battery, with support for rapid charging technologies of up to 80W or 100W. Color options for the device are expected to include classic shades: black, white, and blue.
