Pakistan All-Rounder Reveals Winning Mindset Ahead of Bangladesh Test Clash
Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha has revealed the team’s winning mindset ahead of the Bangladesh Test, stating that Pakistan will continue pushing aggressively for victory despite the challenging match situation.
Speaking after the fourth day of the first Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Salman Ali Agha said Pakistan remains focused on securing a result against Bangladesh rather than settling for a draw.
Bangladesh ended day four at 152/3 in their second innings, leading Pakistan by 179 runs with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto unbeaten on 58. Despite the pressure, Agha insisted Pakistan would be prepared to chase a competitive target if required on the final day.

The Pakistani all-rounder stated that the visitors would look to take wickets quickly and maintain an attacking approach throughout the final session of the match. According to him, the game remains evenly balanced and could still produce an exciting finish.
The Bangladesh Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle, with Pakistan entering the series under the leadership of Shan Masood. The squad also includes experienced players such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Sajid Khan.
Pakistan had intensified preparations ahead of the series through training camps and practice sessions in Dhaka, focusing on batting, bowling, and fielding drills to adapt to Bangladesh’s conditions.
The ongoing Test has generated significant attention as both teams aim to improve their standings in the World Test Championship rankings. Cricket analysts believe the final day could prove crucial for momentum in the remainder of the series.
