Pakistan has dismissed reports claiming that its Chief of Defence Forces and Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, is planning a high‑profile visit to the United States to meet President Donald Trump.

Officials in Islamabad have labeled the media reports as inaccurate and entirely unfounded, stressing that no official trip or meeting has been scheduled. A spokesperson for the Foreign Office clarified that all foreign visits by senior officials are formally announced by the government, and no such announcement has been made regarding Munir’s travel to Washington.

Government and security sources reiterated that there is no confirmed information about a planned visit or discussions between Munir and the US president. They emphasized that speculation about such a trip is incorrect and detached from reality.

Authorities also noted that Pakistan’s position on key international issues, including the ongoing situation in the Middle East, remains consistent and publicly stated, and should not be conflated with unverified reports about diplomatic travel.
