Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces intercepted and neutralised 12 Indian drones during attempted intrusions on May 7 and 8.

Speaking at a media briefing, the DG ISPR stated that the drones were downed in multiple locations, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Karachi, Chhor, and Attock. He described the incidents as part of India’s ongoing pattern of aggression.

Pakistan’s military remains on high alert to safeguard the country’s airspace and territorial integrity, he affirmed.

The spokesperson also confirmed that four Pakistan Army personnel were injured in a drone attack in Lahore, while one civilian was killed in Miano, Sindh.
