The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has once again forecast rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in various parts of the country over the next few days due to an approaching western weather system.
According to the forecast, Balochistan is expected to experience rain, gusty winds, and snowfall in hilly areas, particularly in northern districts. These conditions are likely to begin first before spreading to other regions.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain and thunderstorms are expected, with snowfall in upper and mountainous areas. Regions such as Chitral, Swat, Dir, and surrounding districts may see cold and wet conditions, potentially affecting travel.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are also forecast to receive rain along with moderate to heavy snowfall, which could lead to road closures and disruptions in daily activities.

Authorities have advised citizens, especially those in mountainous regions, to take precautionary measures, remain alert to changing weather conditions, and plan travel accordingly due to the risk of snowfall and reduced visibility.
