Realme’s 12 series has welcomed its newest addition, debuting first in the Malaysian and Indonesian markets. The latest member, Realme 12+, maintains the design ethos of its siblings while introducing subtle upgrades to its specifications, including a different chipset and camera setup.

The Realme 12+ boasts a familiar 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a crisp 1080p resolution and a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Positioned at the center is a punch-hole cutout housing the selfie camera, while underneath the display lies an optical fingerprint sensor doubling as a heart rate tracker. The back panel continues the trend with a vegan leather finish and a circular main camera module reminiscent of the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+.

Under the hood, the Realme 12+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with no option for expansion via a memory card slot. On the software front, the device ships with Android 14 adorned with Realme UI 5.0.

Turning to the photography department, the rear camera setup features a sizable camera island housing a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and a 26mm equivalent focal range. It offers 2x in-sensor zoom and a dedicated portrait mode with optical image stabilization (OIS). Accompanying this primary sensor is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, users can rely on the 16MP front-facing shooter housed within the punch-hole cutout.

Powering the Realme 12+ is a robust 5,000 mAh battery, which supports rapid 67W wired charging, ensuring swift replenishment.

In Indonesia, the Realme 12+ is available in Navigator Beige and Pioneer Green color options, with prices starting at $267.
