Xiaomi announced earlier today (9th February 2023) that it will be launching a new smart home product later this year as part of its smart home line up. In this case, the product in question would be the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K and the company has officially announced the date on which it will hit the Indian market.
There is no doubt that many people in the Indian market are unaware of the fact that the Chinese tech giant unveiled its Xiaomi TV Stick 4K back in 2021. However, the device has now made its way to the Indian market. The TV Stick is exactly what the name implies. It is a device that can be plugged into your TV and, as the name implies, it basically turns your TV into a Smart TV once it is connected to it. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are both supported on this device, in addition to the fact that it comes with a built-in Chromecast.

It is paired with a Mi Voice Remote that features Netflix and Amazon Prime Video shortcut buttons and even Disney+ Hotstar and a dedicated Assistant buttons as well for easy voice searches. Under the hood, the TV Stick 4K houses a quad core Cortex A35 processor and also supports dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. While the global variant of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K comes with Android TV 11, the Indian variant will come with the brand’s Patchwall that is also available on its smart TV offerings.
The new TV Stick will enable seamless streaming in high 4K resolution, which will allow users to enjoy their favorite movies and videos in Ultra High Definition.
