LAHORE: A bomb blast in the Lahore’s Lohari Gate area Thursday has caused at least two people to be dead and injured 23 others health and police officials confirmed Thursday.
In a press conference following an incident DIG Operations Lahore Dr Muhammad Abid Khan said 20 victims were injured during the incident. He also said the investigation is at the beginning phase.
Police have stated they believed it to be a plant device, however, it wasn’t determined if this was an unintentionally explosive device (IED) or the time device.
MS Meo Hospital confirmed that they received one body and three of the injured are in critical condition.
The blast shattering window glass of nearby buildings . Several motorcycles parked near the site of the explosion were damaged.
