Back in December, rumors circulated and there were leaked renders that were making their way of a rather unique offering coming in from Realme – as there was a horizontal camera design on offer – much reminiscent to what was offered on the Galaxy S10 series and also the Pixel 6. The phone was touted to be the Realme GT2 Pro and had managed to create a fair bit of hype, due to the fact that it reflected a design which came about with a diverging factor as compared to what Realme usually offers.

However, when the official teasers started to come about, it was made apparent that the phone was ready to ditch the horizontal camera layout and opted for a not so special top left aligned camera layout. And after this, the Realme GT2 Pro with the Pixel 6 alike camera bar was never seen again.

However, now, in the more recent times, the said device has once again managed to re-emerge. The official global handle with respect to Realme has also taken note of this fact, as it has advised the smartphone world to “stay tuned” when the topic of the phone came about.

The response then managed to clear up the rumors of the alt-realme GT2 Pro being just a concept phone that just didn’t make the final cut – which of course all in all refers to the fact that we could indeed see the launch of the phone soon. However, for now, no expected launch date has been provided, however, taking into consideration the fact that the phone has indeed been in development for a long while now, one would have to imagine that we won’t exactly have to wait too long before it comes about!
