It has been about a month since the first Android 13-based Nothing OS 1.5 Beta for the Nothing Phone (1) phone was released, and now Nothing has begun pushing the second beta of Android 13 for the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone to its members. The download package is 127MB in size, and is available to download from the Nothing Phone (1) website. Nothing CEO Carl Pei said that the company is four days ahead of schedule on this project.

As part of the Beta 2 release, you’ll be able to download new minimalist wallpapers, customize lock screen shortcut buttons, a new graphical ringtone, an enhanced notification sound pack, as well as an improved network quick settings panel that lets you switch between data usages in a flash when using dual SIM cards. As well as smoother screen animations when opening or closing the screen, the auto-brightness algorithm has been upgraded, the camera app has been improved, and the battery life has been improved.

Moreover, the stability of the system has been improved, and a number of bugs have been fixed extensively. There is now a full-fledged Nothing X application built into the OS, and the pop-up view of the app is finally back with “a few improvements to the interaction”.
