OnePlus has officially launched its latest flagship device, the OnePlus Ace 3, marking the debut of the brand in 2024. Unveiled at a dedicated launch event in China, the Ace 3 brings significant enhancements over its predecessor, the Ace 2, with standout features including a massive 1TB storage option.
Design and Display: The Ace 3 sports a sleek design with a curved 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 1,240 x 2,772 pixels. The display offers an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and is manufactured by BOE. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, the display ensures both clarity and durability.
Continuing OnePlus’s design legacy, the device features an aluminum frame and a frosted glass back. The circular camera island seamlessly integrated into the side frame houses a triple-camera setup. The iconic three-stage alert slider, first introduced with the OnePlus 11, adds a touch of convenience to the device.

Internals and Software: Powering the OnePlus Ace 3 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, coupled with either 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM for efficient multitasking. The device offers expansive storage options, reaching up to 1TB through UFS 4.0 technology. However, there is no provision for external memory card expansion. The phone runs on Android 14 with Color OS 14, exclusive to the China market.
Cameras: The rear camera setup is led by a potent 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Accompanying this are an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. Video recording capabilities extend to 4K at 60 FPS and 1080p at 240 FPS. The front-facing punch-hole cutout houses a 16MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording.
Battery and Pricing: Equipped with a substantial 5,500 mAh battery, the OnePlus Ace 3 promises all-day connectivity.
