Oppo has officially announced that their Reno 11 series, which debuted last year, will receive generative AI features in the second quarter of 2024, spanning from April to June. The exciting aspect of this announcement is that these features will not be limited to China but will be made available to global customers as well. While specific details about these AI features are yet to be disclosed, it’s anticipated that they will offer similar functionalities to rival devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Google Pixel 8.

Among the confirmed features is the AI Eraser, which appears to be akin to Google and Samsung’s Magic Eraser/Object Eraser. Additionally, users can expect a document summarizer capable of processing both files and articles, along with the possibility of custom wallpapers generated from prompts. There’s also speculation about potential AI enhancements for calls, such as noise cancellation, although Oppo has not officially confirmed this yet.
