Five Pakistani nationals were executed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after being convicted of killing a security guard during an armed robbery.
According to a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the individuals were part of a group that carried out a robbery at a private company, resulting in the death of Anis Mian, a watchman of Bangladeshi origin.

The executed individuals were identified as Arshad Ali Deebar, Mohammad Ismail, Abdul Majeed, Haji Nooruddin, and Abdul Ghaffar Mohammad Soma. Their execution was approved by the Saudi Royal House following the issuance of a final verdict of death sentence.
The executions were carried out by hanging on Tuesday, marking Saudi Arabia’s third mass execution in 2024. Foreign detainees in the Kingdom often face severe punishments for various crimes.
Under Saudi law, death sentences can be imposed for offenses such as murder, drug trafficking, and terrorism-related activities.
