Realme has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the introduction of the vanilla Realme 12, adding to the Realme 12 Pro series. Positioned as an entry-level model, the Realme 12 aims to deliver value without compromising too much on essential features.

Design and Display: The Realme 12 sports a 6.72-inch LCD panel with a 1080p resolution. Notably, it boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits. The design closely resembles its Pro counterparts, and it introduces Realme’s Dynamic Button feature, offering versatility with seven functions accessible through the power button, which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

Internals and Software: Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ processor, coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage via a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5 on top, ensuring a smooth and feature-rich user experience.
