Huawei Nova 12 Budget Versions Now Available Worldwide

Huawei’s latest Nova 12 series has hit the global market, comprising both premium models and more budget-friendly options. However, disappointment arises as many of the affordable phones appear to be mere iterations of previous generations.

The international release includes the Nova 12i, Nova 12s, and Nova 12 SE, with pricing and availability varying by region.

Global Release of Huawei Nova 12’s Affordable Models

The Huawei Nova 12i boasts a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 1080p resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Notably, its design features flat sides, integrating the fingerprint scanner seamlessly into the power key on the right side, positioned below the volume rocker.

Powered by an LTE-only Snapdragon 680 chipset and 8 GB of RAM, the Nova 12i offers storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. Its camera setup includes a primary 108MP f/1.9 shooter, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a single LED flash on the rear. For selfies, it houses an 8MP sensor within a punch hole on the front.

With a robust 5,000 mAh battery, the Nova 12i supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge technology, capable of charging the battery to 62% in just 30 minutes. Operating on EMUI 14, based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), the Nova 12i is available in vibrant Green and classic Black color options.

Moving on to the Huawei Nova 12s, it measures below 7mm in thickness and introduces a new signature Blue hue. Sporting a 60MP front-facing camera for detailed selfies and a rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, laser focus, and a color temperature sensor.

Driven by a Snapdragon 778G chipset and 8 GB of RAM, the Nova 12s offers a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1080p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Operating on EMUI 14, it shares the same OS as its siblings.

The Nova 12 SE, retaining the same hero color, continues to offer reliable specs with a Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 6.67-inch OLED display, and a triple 108MP camera setup on the rear.

Originally launched as the Nova 11 SE, the Huawei Nova 12 SE packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W charging capabilities. The global variant offers 8 GB of RAM and a choice between 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, operating on EMUI 14 instead of HarmonyOS.
