The Google Pixel 8a has been the subject of numerous leaks, and now a comprehensive spec sheet has emerged thanks to tipster Yogesh Brar from 91Mobiles. While not every detail has been disclosed, the leak provides a glimpse into the key specifications of the phone, along with its price tag and anticipated launch date.

In terms of display, the Pixel 8a is set to offer a compact form factor compared to contemporary standards. It will feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the same Tensor G3 chipset found in the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, with storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB.

The primary camera setup will boast a 64MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for capturing steady videos and photos. It will retain the 13MP ultrawide camera from its predecessor, along with a 13MP selfie camera housed within a punch-hole cutout.

Although the exact battery capacity was not mentioned by the tipster, it’s anticipated to be around 4,500 mAh, a slight improvement over the Pixel 7a’s 4,385 mAh. The Pixel 8a is expected to support 27W wired charging, and while wireless charging was a feature of the Pixel 7a, its inclusion in the Pixel 8a has not been confirmed by the leak.

The Google Pixel 8a is slated for a May launch, with a price ranging between $500-$550. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are expected to debut in October alongside the release of Android 15.
