The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan witnessed a significant increase of Rs. 1,800 per tola, reaching a new all-time high of Rs. 320,800 on Thursday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. This surpasses the previous record set just a day earlier when the price stood at Rs. 319,000.

Gold and Silver Price Fluctuations

  • The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,543, reaching Rs. 275,034 from Rs. 273,491.
  • The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs. 1,423, moving to Rs. 252,123 from Rs. 250,700.
  • In contrast, silver prices declined, with per tola silver dropping Rs. 31 to Rs. 3,524 and 10 grams of silver falling by Rs. 26 to Rs. 3,021.
