Honor has officially launched the X70i smartphone in China, marking its fourth release this month following the Honor Power, Honor X60 GT, and Honor GT Pro. Unlike its more premium siblings, the X70i is positioned as a budget-friendly device, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
The Honor X70i boasts a sleek design, measuring 161mm × 74.55mm × 7.29mm and weighing 178.5g. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels), 10-bit color support, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and a remarkable peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits.
In terms of photography, the device includes a single 108-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.75 aperture. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the X70i runs on the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, combined with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.

The phone operates on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15. It also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and supports various connectivity options like 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. The device also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Notably, the X70i is a slightly modified version of the globally released Honor 400 Lite. While both phones share a 108MP main camera, the X70i comes with a larger 6,000mAh battery and a single rear lens setup, compared to the 400 Lite’s dual camera system (108MP + 5MP), 16MP front camera, and smaller 5,320mAh battery.
