The British newspaper The Telegraph has claimed that India is preparing for a potential strike on Karachi Port, having deployed its Western Naval Fleet in the northern Arabian Sea near the Pakistani coastline. This aggressive posture by India has significantly heightened tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
According to The Telegraph, the Indian naval deployment includes a range of sophisticated warships such as aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, and anti-submarine vessels. Several ships in the fleet are reportedly equipped with BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles, capable of striking targets up to 500 miles away with high precision.
The report further reveals that the Indian fleet is currently stationed approximately 300 to 400 miles off the Pakistani coast. This strategic positioning suggests that India is maintaining a high state of operational readiness, potentially signaling an escalation or a show of force aimed at pressuring Pakistan.
