The four tourists were last in contact on the night of May 15 while staying at a hotel in Danyore, Gilgit. They were en route to Skardu the following morning but have not been heard from since. Their mobile phones have remained switched off, and all contact with their families ceased after their departure.

Earlier, authorities had issued alerts at all checkpoints and initiated a large-scale search across the region. However, no progress had been made until the vehicle’s discovery.

Now, with the car located, rescue teams are concentrating their efforts on the surrounding area to find the missing tourists. Families and officials are also urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the search.
