Punjab University administration has announced that all 27 university hostels will be fully vacated during the upcoming summer vacation. According to the official notification, hostels will remain closed from June 6 to August 27.
This year, stricter rules have been implemented, allowing only international students to stay in the hostels during the summer break. Final semester students working on their theses must obtain formal permission from the university to remain on campus. Likewise, departments continuing academic or research activities during the vacation must seek approval for any students needing accommodation.
