Xiaomi is preparing to launch its latest flagship killer, the Redmi K80 Ultra, which is shaping up to deliver premium features at a competitive price. With a strong focus on performance, design, and durability, this upcoming model aims to strike the perfect balance between mid-range affordability and high-end specifications.

The Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a flat-sided design with a metal frame and fiberglass rear panel. It measures 8.18mm thick and weighs 219 grams. The device is built to last, with IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
The front sports a 6.83-inch flat M9 display, offering FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. It’s protected by Dragon Crystal glass and comes with an enhanced 6500mm² 3D Ice-Sealed Circulating Cooling Pump for superior thermal management.

⚙️ Performance

At its core, the K80 Ultra is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with a D2 discrete GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone packs a huge 7,410mAh battery, with 100W fast charging and bypass charging capabilities.
Additional hardware includes dual stereo speakers with 1115 coaxial drivers, a 0916C X-axis linear motor, IR blaster, NFC, USB 2.0, and Surge charging chip support.

📸 Camera

The camera setup is led by a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor (1/1.55-inch), likely a custom OmniVision sensor, with OIS support. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide OV08F lens. For selfies and video calls, the front camera is a 20MP OV20B sensor.

📅 Launch Date, Colors & Availability

Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi K80 Ultra on June 26 in China during a major launch event. Other products like the Xiaomi YU7 SUV, Mix Flip 2, and Redmi K Pad will also debut.
The phone will be available in four color variants: Spruce Green, Ice Blue, Moon Rock White, and Sandstone Grey. While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to follow the aggressive pricing strategy of its predecessor, the Redmi K70 Ultra.
