Pakistan’s 5G network rollout is gradually expanding, but coverage remains limited to selected locations across major cities. Telecom operators Jazz and Zong have continued to increase their 5G footprint following the country’s spectrum auction, while Ufone has yet to begin a commercial rollout. According to the latest coverage maps published by the operators, several cities now have active 5G sites, although availability is restricted to specific neighborhoods rather than entire urban areas.
Jazz currently offers 5G services in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, and Sahiwal. Coverage in Islamabad includes sectors such as F-11, F-10/4, F-8, F-7, F-6, F-5/1, G-5 to G-11, E-7 to E-11, I-9/3, the Diplomatic Enclave, and Islamabad International Airport.
In Rawalpindi, Jazz users can access 5G services in selected areas including Saddar, Askari Housing schemes, Chaklala, and nearby commercial zones. Lahore’s coverage spans key locations such as Gulberg, Garden Town, Johar Town, DHA, Jail Road, Mall Road, Model Town Link Road, Allama Iqbal International Airport, and several surrounding neighborhoods.

Karachi’s 5G footprint includes parts of Bahria Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, DHA phases 1 to 8, Sharah-e-Faisal, Railway Colony, and selected Clifton areas.
Meanwhile, Zong reports more than 140 active 5G sites nationwide. The operator’s coverage map currently lists Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Abbottabad, Attock, Jhelum, Kohat, Mardan, Sialkot, and Swabi among the cities with active 5G deployments.
Although 5G services are now available in more than 20 Pakistani cities, coverage remains concentrated in high-demand urban locations, commercial districts, airports, housing societies, and business hubs. Telecom companies are expected to continue expanding their networks throughout 2026 as more users upgrade to compatible devices and demand for faster mobile internet increases.
