The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has now introduced a new website that supports both the english and also the urdu language.

“We believe that this new site will allow our visitors to have a very informative experience as we continue to grow and assert our regulatory authority”, said the SECP Chairman Zafar Hijazi. The advanced website is even more developed and well managed and maintained that the previous. The content of the website is also quite informative and up to the mark of importance

The information shared on the website is related to:

  • information
  • complete range of laws, rules, regulations
  • latest notifications, circulars, directives

The bilingual website is in accordance with SECP’s policy to implement it in Urdu as its official language. The Urdu section of the website provides comprehensive information on company formation, compliance requirements, licensing procedures and Urdu versions of laws, rules, regulations and guidebooks. It is worth mentioning here that the SECP has translated all of its laws, except the Companies Ordinance, 1984, which is being replaced.
