In a tragic incident near Peshawar, a man took the life of his own son over a dispute involving the display of a rival political party’s flag at their residence in the Badhber area. According to media reports, the father was associated with the Awami National Party (ANP), while his son was a supporter of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), led by former prime minister Imran Khan.
Preliminary information suggests that the conflict emerged when the son, Atta-ur Rehman, allegedly ignored parental advice. Fueled by anger from the disagreement, the father, Noor-ur Rehman, resorted to violence, resulting in the tragic death of his son.
