Anticipation is building as Motorola’s Indian division teases an upcoming smartphone launch slated for April 3. Despite keeping the device’s name a mystery, the company shared a teaser image on X today, hinting at the debut of a new phone fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Earlier, Motorola had offered a glimpse of a phone featuring a curved display, a hallmark of Edge smartphones. Interestingly, this device also sported the same rear panel color as today’s teaser. The previous teaser hinted at an Edge phone with the tagline “Unleash the New Edge.” Initially speculated to be the Edge 50 Pro due to recent leaks, newer leaks now suggest it might be the Edge 50 Fusion.

The accompanying text from Motorola, “Witness the fusion of art and intelligence,” strongly suggests the unveiling of the Edge 50 Fusion on April 3. However, the possible appearance of the Edge 50 Pro at the event remains uncertain. Some reports indicate that the Edge 50 Fusion will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the Edge 50 Pro will feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

This discrepancy leaves room for speculation: either the leaks are inaccurate, or there could be a third Edge phone unveiled at the event. With two weeks remaining until April 3, we anticipate further official details from Motorola soon.
