Vivo’s Vice President, Jia Jingdong, has revealed an exciting event scheduled for March 26, where the highly anticipated Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet will be unveiled alongside the Vivo TWS 4 earbuds. What makes this announcement intriguing is that it was shared using a Vivo X Fold3 Pro.

The star of the show, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, is poised to be the first foldable smartphone equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, as confirmed by its listing on Geekbench. The phone appeared on Geekbench with the model number “vivo V2337A” boasting 16 GB of RAM, running on Vivo’s Chinese version of Funtouch called Origin OS 4 based on Android 14.

While these specifications are yet to be officially confirmed, Vivo has provided a glimpse of the phone’s camera capabilities through sample images. Additionally, Vivo has confirmed the release of multiple foldables under the “X Fold3 series,” including a vanilla model and a Pro variant, with differences mainly in the main camera setup. The vanilla X Fold 3 is expected to feature a triple 50MP camera setup, while the Pro variant will include a 64MP periscope unit. Notably, the X Fold 3 Pro is slated to be the first dust and water-resistant foldable phone.

The base X Fold 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the flagship tablet, Vivo Pad 3 Pro, will be powered by MediaTek’s premium Dimensity 9300 SoC. The tablet will boast a 13-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and “3.1K” resolution, supporting the Vivo Pencil 2 stylus for a competitive edge in the tablet market.

With a massive 11,500 mAh battery capacity, the Vivo Pad 3 Pro promises extended usage, although details on fast charging technology are yet to be disclosed. The tablet will offer optional accessories like a keyboard cover and an 8-speaker combo for immersive audio experiences.

Moreover, the upcoming Vivo TWS 4 earbuds are set to impress with their 55dB Active Noise Cancellation (AI-powered), surpassing the capabilities of their predecessor, the Vivo TWS 3 Pro. Engineered on the Qualcomm S3 audio platform, these earbuds feature a gaming mode for minimal latency, weighing just 4.8g each and offering up to 11 hours of continuous playback, with the case extending total playtime to an impressive 45 hours.
