The upcoming Moto G85 has recently passed various certifications, revealing key details about its anticipated features. Notably, the Hi-Res Audio certification has disclosed four model numbers: XT2427-1, XT2427-2, XT2427-3, and XT2427-4, corresponding to regional variants of the G85. Recent approvals from certification platforms like TENAA in China and BIS in India have confirmed the Chinese variant (XT2427-4) and the Indian variant (XT2427-3) of the Moto G85, hinting at an imminent official launch.

According to the TENAA listing, the Moto G85 is expected to sport a 6.6-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, featuring a curved-edge design as seen in leaked renders. The device will reportedly be available in several colors including black, green, and blue.

TENAA indicates that the Moto G85 will be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. However, earlier Geekbench listings suggested the possibility of it shipping with the upcoming Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset. In China, the phone is slated to come in multiple RAM configurations: 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 18 GB, paired with storage options ranging from 128 GB to 1 TB, although not all variants may be available at launch.

Regarding battery life, the Moto G85 is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery, though details about fast charging capabilities remain undisclosed. The camera setup is rumored to include a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the phone is set to include an under-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

Physical dimensions provided by TENAA list the Moto G85 at 161.9 x 73 x 7.5mm, with a weight of 171 grams. Despite these specifications, actual images of the phone have not yet surfaced in the TENAA listing, leaving some aspects still to be visually confirmed.
