In contrast, India has secured a total of six medals, consisting of five bronze and one silver. Among India’s top contenders, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was expected to vie for a gold medal. If multiple nations have the same number of gold medals, the rankings are determined by the number of silver medals, followed by bronze medals, if necessary.
