According to a leak from Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, the new iPhone SE 4 is set to launch in early 2025. Gurman has consistently stated that this model will feature Face ID instead of Touch ID, and will be capable of utilizing Apple Intelligence.
The iPhone SE 4 will also transition from an LCD display to an OLED panel. Additional rumors from Nikkei Asia suggest that Apple has begun sourcing displays from BOE and LG for use in their phones. The iPhone 16 series is expected to incorporate Apple Intelligence features by fall 2024, but the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to be equipped with these features as well, potentially making it the most affordable device with Apple Intelligence capabilities.

Previous iterations made various compromises in terms of battery life, power, camera quality, and display. However, this time around, Apple seems committed to elevating the SE experience.
