The second half of the year is shaping up to be an exciting one for smartphone enthusiasts, with major brands set to launch their flagship devices. Alongside the anticipated iPhone 17 series and Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon chipset, Honor is preparing to make waves with multiple product launches.
According to recent reports, Honor is planning to unveil the Honor 500 series and the Honor Magic8 series by the end of this year in China. The leak, shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, suggests the 500 lineup will likely include two models — a vanilla Honor 500 and a more advanced Honor 500 Pro.
Staying true to its roots, the Honor 500 series will continue to focus on camera-centric features, sporting 200MP main cameras, though the sensor is expected to be new. Both phones will have lightweight designs and 6.5-inch displays, as well as large batteries with fast charging capabilities. While exact specifications are still under wraps, it’s expected that the Pro version will come with upgraded hardware and features.

In addition, the report mentions the upcoming Honor GT 2 series. Though details are limited, at least one of the GT 2 models — likely part of a GT 2 and GT 2 Pro duo — will feature a 6.83-inch display, powerful processors, and large battery capacity, positioning it as a high-performance device.
With several key launches on the horizon, Honor appears ready to close out the year with a strong product lineup. More details are expected in the coming weeks.
