The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is set to announce unofficial results for all 859 constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies on Friday, February 9.
According to a spokesperson for the ECP, all arrangements have been completed to ensure the conduct of free, fair, and transparent general elections across the country tomorrow.
A total of 260 million ballot papers have been printed for all constituencies, with National Assembly ballots on green paper and Provincial Assembly ballots on white paper.
Distribution of the printed ballot papers has been largely completed across the country, with only a few districts remaining. The printing process, which commenced on January 14, concluded by February 3.

In compliance with a Supreme Court order, ballot papers for 11 National Assembly and five Provincial Assembly constituencies underwent reprinting, with the original papers slated for destruction as per the court’s directive.
Notably, a total of 260 million ballot papers were printed this time around, reflecting a significant 54.74% increase in candidates compared to previous elections.
Efficient management efforts resulted in a reduction in the demand for special paper from 2,400 tonnes to 2,177 tonnes, despite a 195% increase. The distribution of printed ballot papers comprises 5% single-column, 50% double-column, 30% three-column, 11.15% four-column, and 2.4% five-column formats.
