By the end of the year 2023, Elon Musk, Twitter’s CEO, said he aims to find his successor to lead the social media company when he retires.

During a video link presentation at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Feb. 15, Elon Musk declared that he plans to step down from his position as Twitter CEO by the end of 2023 and find a successor, according to Bloomberg. Elon Musk has said he needs to stabilize Twitter’s operations before stepping down, including its financial well-being and clarity on the product line.

In his statement, Elon Musk said, “I believe that by the end of this year Twitter should be in a stable state around the end of this year, so it would make sense to find a new leader then.”.

It’s important to note that Elon Musk posted several tweets in a row earlier today saying that Twitter’s new CEO (the picture shows a dog) is fantastic; he is much better than that guy (mean Elon Musk himself), and he is very good at math and has a great personality; he is a perfect candidate for the job.

Elon Musk posted on his Twitter that the past three months have been very challenging for him, having to save Twitter from “bankruptcy” while also performing the basic responsibilities of Tesla and SpaceX in the meantime. There are still challenges for Twitter, but the company appears to be on track to break even in the near future.
