The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has released the results of the Matric Supplementary Examination, revealing yet another disappointing performance from students in the region.
According to official data, 20,977 candidates appeared in the supplementary exam, but a staggering 57 percent failed once again. This brings the overall pass rate to just 42.82 percent, with only 8,982 students managing to clear the exam.
Education experts say the continued poor performance highlights deep-rooted academic challenges that need urgent attention.
Earlier this year, 173,239 students appeared in the annual Matric examinations conducted by BISE Faisalabad. Of them, 137,948 passed, while tens of thousands were left to take the supplementary exam in hopes of improving their results. Unfortunately, a significant portion of these students were unable to achieve passing marks.
