In its ongoing campaign against gas theft, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected 430 illegal gas connections across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad. The operation has resulted in fines totaling Rs 2.5 million.

- Lahore:
The regional team disconnected 33 illegal connections and 4 for compressor usage, imposing fines amounting to Rs 0.66 million. - Faisalabad:
13 illegal connections were disconnected, with fines totaling Rs 0.14 million. - Sheikhupura:
9 illegal connections were cut off, and fines worth Rs 1.18 million were levied.
