The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs. 4,100 on Tuesday, reaching a new all-time high of Rs. 388,100, compared to Rs. 384,000 the previous day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 3,514, settling at Rs. 332,733, up from Rs. 329,219. The price of 22-karat gold also rose by Rs. 3,222, reaching Rs. 305,016 from Rs. 301,794.

Silver followed the upward trend as well. The price of 24-karat silver per tola climbed by Rs. 20 to Rs. 4,358, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs. 17 to Rs. 3,736.

On the international market, silver prices also increased, rising by $0.20 to $41.25 per ounce, up from $41.05.
