Indian airstrikes across various Pakistani cities last night resulted in the deaths of at least 26 civilians—including women, children, and teenagers—while injuring 46 others, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
The attacks reportedly targeted non-military zones and religious sites, inflicting heavy civilian casualties. In Ahmedpur East, Bahawalpur, 13 people lost their lives, including two three-year-old girls, seven women, and four men, while 37 others were wounded. An airstrike on Ummalkura Mosque in Muridke led to three deaths and one injury.

Near Muzaffarabad, Bilal Mosque was struck, killing three individuals and injuring two children. In Kotli, the Abbas Mosque was shelled, resulting in the deaths of a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy, while a mother and her daughter were injured. Firing along the Line of Control (LoC) killed five more civilians, including a five-year-old child. Although Sialkot and Shakargarh were also targeted, no casualties were reported from those locations.
The ISPR strongly condemned the intentional targeting of religious structures and civilian infrastructure, labeling the strikes as a clear violation of international norms.
