Apple is rumored to be giving both iPhone 16 Pro models a better zoom camera, matching the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 5x optical zoom. This would eliminate a buying decision for users who prefer a smaller phone but also want a good zoom camera.
Leaks suggest Apple is using new suppliers to produce parts for this improved camera.
There might also be an even better zoom camera exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

On top of the camera upgrades, the iPhone 16 series might get a design change with a vertical camera layout, physical buttons replaced with touch-sensitive ones, and the “Action button” from the Pro models being available on all models. The standard models are expected to have A18 chips, while the Pro models might get the faster A18 Pro chip. All iPhones will likely run the new iOS 18.
