The rumored iPhone 19 Pro Display Redesign could mark one of Apple’s most dramatic smartphone transformations in years, with new leaks suggesting the company is testing a futuristic quad-curved display for its upcoming flagship lineup.
According to reports from multiple Apple-focused sources, prototype versions of the iPhone 19 Pro are currently being evaluated with displays that curve around all four edges of the device. The design would create a more immersive and nearly bezel-free appearance compared to current iPhone models.
Leaks from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claim the redesigned iPhone could also feature under-display Face ID technology, eliminating the need for Apple’s Dynamic Island system. Reports suggest only a tiny punch-hole cutout for the front camera may remain visible on the display.
The redesign is reportedly connected to Apple’s long-term plans for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary in 2027. Analysts believe the company wants to create a truly uninterrupted all-screen iPhone experience similar to futuristic concepts previously seen in patents and industry leaks.

The quad-curved OLED panel would allow the screen to flow seamlessly across the sides, top, and bottom edges of the phone. Industry observers say this could become Apple’s biggest visual redesign since the launch of the iPhone X in 2017.
However, several technical challenges reportedly remain. Sources indicate Apple is still struggling to fully hide selfie cameras beneath the display without reducing image quality. The company may therefore continue using a small visible camera cutout until under-display camera technology improves further.
Online reactions to the leak have been mixed. Some users on Reddit praised the futuristic design concept, while others expressed concerns about accidental touches, screen durability, and compatibility with protective cases.
Although Apple has not officially confirmed the redesign, reports suggest the company is actively experimenting with multiple display technologies as competition in premium smartphone innovation continues intensifying.
If the leaks prove accurate, the iPhone 19 Pro could become one of Apple’s boldest hardware redesigns yet and potentially reshape future smartphone aesthetics across the industry.
