Apple’s long-rumored iPhone Fold is beginning to take clearer shape as the latest leaks reveal detailed information about its display and camera setup ahead of a likely 2026 debut. The foldable device is expected to blend cutting-edge screen technology with versatile photography capabilities in a design that stands apart from current foldables.

The upcoming iPhone Fold is tipped to feature a foldable inner display measuring around 7.58–7.8 inches, providing a tablet-like experience when unfolded, while an outer cover display of approximately 5.25–5.5 inches will handle everyday use when the device is folded. Displays are reported to aim for minimal or nearly invisible crease effects, a key improvement over many existing foldable phones.

In terms of photography, early reports suggest the device could include multiple cameras tailored for both folded and unfolded modes. The inner screen may use under-display camera technology, enabling a seamless viewing experience without notches or punch-holes, while the outer display could use a hole-punch selfie camera for quick captures. Rear camera setups are expected to feature high-resolution sensors, potentially dual or quad cameras to support wide, ultra-wide, and enhanced mobile imaging.

For biometric security, Apple may return to Touch ID integrated into the side button instead of Face ID, optimizing internal space and maintaining a sleek design. This could be a practical choice given the unique engineering challenges of a foldable form factor.

While official announcements are still pending, these emerging details paint a picture of a premium foldable iPhone that prioritizes both visual immersion and photography versatility, positioning it as a strong contender in the next generation of smartphones.
