Safety Remains the Top Priority
The ban has been reimposed to prevent accidents and injuries caused by dangerous kite strings, which have previously resulted in serious harm. Officials stressed that public safety and law and order remain the primary concerns.
Public Advisory Issued
Citizens, especially parents, have been urged to ensure children do not engage in kite flying now that the Basant celebrations have officially ended. The move is part of ongoing efforts to reduce risks and maintain order in the city.
