The ICC Champions Trophy is set to take place in Pakistan next year, as confirmed by Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi. In an informal discussion with reporters, Naqvi stated, “The Champions Trophy will definitely happen, and God willing, it will be held in Pakistan.”

The PCB has already proposed three potential venues for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. These locations were identified following a recent visit by an ICC inspection team.

Although the specific dates for the tournament have not yet been finalized, it is anticipated that Pakistan will host the prestigious event for a two-week period next year.

Naqvi expressed optimism after the ICC inspection team’s visit, noting that the meeting concluded positively. Furthermore, preparations are underway, with international companies scheduled to visit Pakistan on May 7 to commence work on finalizing stadium designs for the tournament.
