The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather advisory warning of cloudy skies, scattered rain, and windstorms in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, the Potohar region, and upper Punjab from Friday to Wednesday (June 13–16).

According to the National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC), a weak western weather system is expected to affect northern parts of the country, while the rest of Punjab will continue to experience intense heat during the same period.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while generally hot conditions are expected, isolated rain and windstorms may occur in areas including Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Kohat, Peshawar, Swat, Mansehra, and others.

Recommended safety measures include staying hydrated, wearing light clothing, avoiding outdoor exposure during peak heat hours, and monitoring vulnerable individuals.

Tourists heading to northern or hilly areas are advised to stay informed about local weather and follow official guidance. For real-time updates, NDMA recommends using its official app.
